This awkward but vaguely funny joke video — possibly made for inter-company joke purposes? — depicts the technological advances that Apple imagined they would have made by 1997. The video gets some things right, though some of this stuff (like a wearable computer) would take 25 years to come along, not 10. Amusingly, and optimistically, the video also imagines a world in which Apple computers dominate the market — which is something that has happened, kind of, at the high-end, but was definitely not the case in 1997. It should be noted that this was made during the years when Steve Jobs had been pushed out of the company, and I'd bet that had he been there, this video would have been with a little more imagination than, like, "the Apple II VSOP."

Also, look for plenty of Weird Science-style depictions of the internet, and awesome 80s "digital" fonts.
