Everybody at the Grateful Dead show at Levi's Stadium on Saturday night was treated to a lovely sunset, and then they pretty much lost their minds when a rainbow appeared right over the stage.

SFist reader Erich Pearson sends in a photo, which many at the concert connected with the weekend's Pride celebrations, Friday's same sex marriage decision from the Supreme Court, and the spirit of the late Jerry Garcia.

As CBS 5 reports, some people including Billboard were speculating that it was just a super-advanced, expensive lighting effect. (They concede, in an update, "upon further investigation [it] appears to have been real. Turns out this band really does jam with God.") The controversy even landed on Snopes!

Also, John Mayer was there with Bravo's Andy Cohen!
