It was another wild weekend of sideshows in Oakland—and one of them got a little scary for a journalist watching the whole scene.

Early Saturday morning, a video journalist was on hand to record a sideshow from the overpass above as it took place on High Street under 880. Oakland police say that it was just one of two sideshows that took place that morning.

As seen in the KRON video above, things got a little wild as fireworks were set off and four shots rang out—a little too close for comfort for the videographer. Police eventually broke up that sideshow.

KRON reports that police pursued a Honda Accord from that sideshow and eventually arrested three of four people in the car after it crashed and burst into flames. The remaining suspect remains at large. In total, police issued 22 citations that night and had 4 vehicles towed.
