The San Francisco Police Department is seeking two women who shoplifted over $7000 worth of designer sunglasses from the Sunglass Hut store in the Stonestown Galleria.

On May 19, the two women you see in the video below "made off with 24 pairs of sunglasses worth a retail value of more than $7,000," KTVU reports, including shades by Versace, Gucci and Ray-Ban.

According to police, the women waited until the Hut staffer was busy with another customer before they started stashing the glasses in their bags.

As you can see in the video, released by SFPD Thursday, an employee who realized the thefts were going down tried to thwart the crime, and was briefly assaulted by one of the suspects.

"There's no remorse," SFPD spokesperson Officer Carlos Manfredi says. "They don't care. They walk in for one purpose and that's just to steal."

Police are hoping someone will recognize the suspects, hence their release of the video. If you recognize them or have any other info that might help the cops nab these shade swipers, please contact SFPD at (415) 575-4444 or text a tip anonymously at TIP411.
