Many of us marveled when a dilapidated shack along Great Highway sold for $1.2 million in March, but most agreed that the value wasn't in the four-bedroom dump in the listing — as Lex Luthor said, "it's the laaand." And how right Luthor was, for today we have a dirt lot in the hot hot area of Noriega Street and 11th Avenue. Asking price: one million dollars.
501 Noriega Street only has a couple scrubby bushes on the 3200 square foot property, eliminating the need to raze whatever shitbox you'd need to raze to build your dream home. The area's called Golden Gate Heights, and the views from that neighborhood are truly stunning, with a vista that runs from downtown to the Marin Headlands.
But is it a million dollar view? I don't even know anymore, you guys. Maybe? Sure, why the hell not.
Anyway, if you want to really see what a million dollar empty lot looks like, the spot's realtors have made a four-and-a-half minute long video of...the million dollar empty lot. You can take in its thrills, chills, and excitement below.
