Serial, the hit podcast (think about that for a second) is a highly fascinating and even entertaining piece of nonfiction. That is, however, to say that it is real, and not fiction, as it focuses on an actual murder and subsequent incarceration.
But these creatively costumed Bay to Breakers revelers might not be completely clear on that, and they certainly put some work into their costumes, based on characters and scenes from Serial, so hats off there. MailKhimp in particular I give an A+. As SFCitizen notes on Twitter, someone posted to Imgur that "My friends dressed up as the Serial Podcast for Bay to Breakers" and, maybe anticipating a blog post finger wagging like this one, hid their faces.
