Earlier today, with the coming Franklin Barbecue pop-up on my mind and the real smell of meat and smoke wafting down Divisadero, I found myself drawn to 4505 Burgers & BBQ.

Now, anyone in the neighborhood will have been watching the work, which began last month, on a patio with indoor, outdoor, and in between seating that's set to replace the previous picnic tables in a parking lot set up. But, in case you haven't been in the area recently, let this shot or two serve as an update. Please note the requisite reclaimed shipping container.

Carnivores are already sitting in part of the fenced off patio, and the construction is due to be complete by May 3rd, which marks the 1 year anniversary of the hit BBQ joint's opening.
