A tip to SFist alerts us to shots fired at a car leaving the Safeway parking lot onto Church Street last night, as do tweets from nearby. Local resident Martina Brehmer says that she had just gotten off a Muni train after 5 p.m. when she saw the police activity and was told "two cars were shooting at each other only a few minutes before."
Just had a drive by shooting happen literally RIGHT in front of me at Church and Reservoir. Looks like nobody was hit.

Sergeant Michael Andraychak tells Hoodline that police received reports of multiple gunshots near 5:05 p.m. yesterday evening.
A black vehicle traveling northbound on Church Street toward Duboce reportedly fired on a silver sedan exiting the parking lot. Though officers scoured the area, they didn't find any bullet holes or injuries, and both vehicles are still outstanding.
