Sunday marked the kickoff of the 2015 season for Off the Grid's Picnic at the Presidio, which brought loads of eager eaters to the Main Post Lawn, and long lines for Wing Wings's fried chicken, Del Popolo pizza, and basically everything else without exception. Also this week, on Friday, is the kickoff night of Off the Grid Fort Mason Center, the centerpiece truck gathering of the OTG calendar, and this year the lineup includes some fresh faces/bites. Among the newcomers are San Diego-style Mexican food stand Frita's Shack, Burmese BBQ spot Burma Bear, and Pacific Islands/Asian fusion truck, Hula Truck.

Also, chef Ryan Scott is reviving his 3-Sum Eats truck for the occasion, after a hiatus.

The full lineup of tents and trucks for the Sunday picnic can be seen here, and note there is a full cocktail bar at that event too with special bottled delights like the Presidio Cup (a spin on the Pimm's Cup), and a Bloody Mary.

At Friday's Fort Mason kickoff you'll find these new cocktails below, courtesy of Rye on the Road, as well as beers from Magnolia, and wine too.
