Remember the massive Slip-n-Slide that appeared on Potrero Hill last June? Well, Slide the City, a new Salt Lake City-based operation that was not behind the SF event last year is now planning roving events much like that one across the country, with an SF slip-sliding party planned for a TBD date in July, in a location that's also TBD — but hopefully there'll be another hill involved? One important question remains, though: Will there be any water left in California by July to support this type of urban water-park fun?

Curbed and 7x7 point us to the company's site, and they've already got events on the books in Florida, Texas, and Arizona this winter and spring.

Their apparatus includes a 1,000-foot slide that's padded underneath, and you or your kid have to be this high (46 inches) to participate. Joining in the sliding fun will cost $20 per person for a single slide, if purchased in advance, or $25 day-of. You can also by a 3-slide pass for $35, or an unlimited pass for $55. Also note: They're planning a Slide the City event in Oakland in June. Register for that one here.
