The first boar's head, blood-covered with dangling skin, was found yesterday. Today a second was discovered. No, this isn't Westeros or Middle Earth. It's Berkeley. The first head was seen on Adeline Street and the second on Shattuck Avenue.

The Chronicle is tentatively linking this incident to vegan and vegetarian restaurants, Herbivore and Flaco's, respectively. Is it some kind of baiting? That's unlikely as the heads were not placed particularly close to the restaurants.

But lo, there must be some occult significance to these events. Consult your star charts.
