Starting this week you will be able to enjoy a tongue-in-cheek Pumpkin Spice Latte Burger at S.F.'s two Umami Burger locations, but of course it's not really what it sounds like. The release went out today, and it explains that the burger will feature tempura kabocha squash (Japanese pumpkin), spiced Mascarpone, garlic aioli, and a coffee glaze, all atop Umami Burger's signature beef patty. It sounds weird, but possibly good.

To capitalize on the whole pumpkin spice/basic bitch backlash thing, the restaurant's reps write, "So on your way to yogilates or Starbucks, pick up the Pumpkin Spice Latte Burger too. And don’t forget to throw on your Uggs. We swear you’ll be OBSESSED after first bite."

The burger will be available, as part of a promotion, for just $4 on Wednesday, November 5, and then starting on the 6th it will remain on the menu for the duration of the holiday season (or until supplies run out) for $12.

Umami Burger is located both at 2184 Union Street, and 242 King Street.
