This post is brought to you by the San Francisco SPCA.
On October 30, at a "There's No Place Like Home" Halloween cocktail party, The San Francisco SPCA will be celebrating the 75th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz, and all of the homeless animals who have found their way home.
To help even more cats and dogs find their Dorothy, they are waiving adoption fees for all animals over 6 months old through the weekend. Admission is free—RSVP now!
The weekend kicks off the night before Halloween with an epic cocktail party. Indulge your taste buds with vegetarian and vegan delights from San Francisco’s favorite food trucks, then sidle up to the cocktail bar or enjoy suds from Lagunitas Brewing Company.
Come meet the SF SPCA's new partner, Pawscout, which uses digital and social technology to keep every pet safe and in their loving homes—your loving homes! Snap photos on the Yellow Brick Road and meet @Tunameltsmyheart of Instagram fame. Let your pet bask in the limelight or share the spotlight with matching costumes. Dorothy and Toto? Scarecrow and Lion? Costumes are optional, but clicking heels is recommended. RSVP now!
