LET'S GO GIANTS!! It's time, everyone, to bask in the October glow of the post-season, and to watch our boys in orange do what they do best in even-numbered years only. Today's first post-season game against the Washington Nationals is happening right during our lunch hour, at 12:07 p.m., so assuming you aren't completely stuck at your hamster-wheel desk all afternoon, below are some places you can escape to to begin your weekend and watch Pablo Sandoval, Gregor Blanco, Hunter Pence, and/or Brandon Crawford knock a few out of someone else's park.

P.S. The Business Times adds that local economist Ted Egan has estimated that daytime playoff games like this cost the city $15 million in lost productivity for the S.F. economy. Yay!
Places to watch:
The 500 Club - They may not open at 6 a.m. like that old sign over the door still say, but they will get open for this. 17th and Guerrero
Danny Coyle's - The Lower Haight's favorite spot for day drinking (and all-the-time drinking) will obviously be showing the game for the neighborhood's under- and fun-employed. 668 Haight Street
Hi Tops - Opening early for the Giants-Nationals game today, and the fried chicken sandwich is still damn good. 2247 Market Street
Kezar Pub - Showing all the post-season games, along with a lot of soccer and great Buffalo wings. 770 Stanyon Street
The Pheonix - Definitely the liveliest spot in the Mission to catch the gams. Plus: fish and chips. 811 Valencia Street
Public House - The bar down at AT&T Park will surely be hopping come noon, even though they typically don't open for lunch. 24 Willie Mays Plaza
Schroeder's - The newly renovated and reopened German beer hall has an enormous (projection?) screen that they'll be rolling out. 240 Front Street
The SoMa StrEat Food Park - They're hosting “Orange October” parties for the games, with several big screen TVs, the usual food trucks, and $3 Anchor Steam pints. 428 11th Street
