Want to rub shoulders with people who want to rub shoulders with the president? If you've got (at least) $1000, then we sure do have a great event for you!

According to an email sent by a Bay Area based Democratic National Committee staffer, President Barack Obama will be the "special guest" at a reception on Friday, October 10 at San Francisco's City Hall.

According to the event's RSVP form, tickets for the DNC fundraiser/presidential hob-nob begin at $1000 for the mere reception, $5000 for the reception and a photo with POTUS (want a group shot? That's $2500 more for each addition to the photo), or $10,000 for a "small meet-and-greet with the President," as well as the photo and reception.

This will be the president's last visit to the Bay Area before the November 4, 2014 midterm election, the DNC staffer warns via email. The president last visited SF for a similar fundraising push on July 22 of this year.
