There's a naked bike ride happening this Saturday, July 26, for those ballsy enough to put their nether regions near spokes and chains.
Organizers say it's a “ride as bare as you dare” kind of affair that encourages body paint, lingerie, tutus, or whatever you’re into. Skaters and skateboarders are also welcome.
Everyone will gather at the Vaillancourt Fountain in Justin Herman Plaza (1 Market Street) starting at 11 a.m. to embark on a six-hour ride that goes through the Haight, Golden Gate Park, Ocean Beach, and winds its way back to the center of town.
The event, which has taken place in 70 cities around the world, has a greater mission to bring attention to our oil dependency and car dominated culture. So you can tell your friends that you’re getting naked for a good cause (not because you’re freaky). Also, try not to get arrested while you're at it.
