The San Francisco Police Department is investigating four shootings that occurred over the weekend, including one homicide and three other violent incidents adjacent to San Francisco's Pride celebrations.

On Friday at around 2 p.m., SFPD officer Gordon Shyy says that a man was shot on the 1700 block of Visitacion Avenue, near McLaren Park.

The victim, who has yet to be identified, was transported to San Francisco General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, Shyy says.

No arrests have been made, and Shyy didn't have any suspect information as of Monday morning.

The same is true of a shooting at the intersection of Market and Mason at about 7 p.m. Saturday night, Shyy said.

Police were called to the scene on a report of shots fired, where they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, Shyy said.

The victim in that case was also taken to SF General for non-life-threatening injuries.

On that same block of Market Street on Sunday night, a woman was shot just outside the Warfield Theater at about 7:30 p.m.

She was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Shyy said.

By 9 p.m., Shyy says, at least one suspect in that shooting was taken into custody.

At around that same time, officers responded to "possible shots fired" at the intersection of Golden Gate and Hyde. A suspect in that incident was also arrested, Shyy says.

When pressed for more details in all these cases, Shyy reiterated that "the officers and investigators working are very busy putting these cases together," and that he expects more details to be released later today.
