Now in its 77th year in Stern Grove, the annual "admission-free" summer festival returns this year with another impressive lineup including Smokey Robinson, Rufus Wainwright, Andrew Bird, the Zombies, and more.
The full 2014 schedule, which kicks off with the annual Big Picnic event on June 22nd, can be found below. In the meantime, the festival foundation is throwing four Grove on the Road mini-concerts around town.
No matter who's playing, picnics in Stern Grove are always lively affairs which are totally worth prying yourself away from another languid Sunday in Dolores Park for. (Pro-tip: festival members can secure one of the reserved picnic tables for the concert of their choice, which also includes a near-bottomless supply of free wine.)
