In another loss for the Mission's dive bar scene, Scott Ellsworth, owner of noted grungy 17th Street bar the Uptown, has passed away.

Ellsworth died unexpectedly over the weekend after suffering a heart attack, according to Mission Local. Ellsworth was remembered by regulars, family members and friends on his Facebook page.

The bar, it seems, has no immediate plans to change anything.
