During Thursday's morning rush hour, an L-Taraval streetcar and someone's teal Nissan had a slight disagreement over who had the right of way near the streetcar stop at 15th Avenue in the Sunset.
According to local bystander and prolific tweeter Mat Honan, the scene around 9 a.m. was "gruesome," although it appears no one was actually injured:
Wow, just drove past a car completely t-boned on the L Taraval outbound on 15th. Gruesome.

Service along the L-Taraval line was disrupted and trains were doing switchbacks for about half an hour as the scene was cleared. Regular service resumed around 9:40 a.m.
Update 12:50 p.m.: According to redditor Superbeefy, who lives in the neighborhood, the driver was backing out of a driveway when they were stuck by the streetcar.
