Get out your sabers and dragon puppets, nerds: They're throwing a big Game of Thrones-themed party at the Armory on Saturday, April 5, and it's for a good cause. It's called Game of Thrones: A Royal Affair, it's a benefit by Hack Cancer, and it's being thrown the night before the premiere of Season 4 of the show.
The huge, 40,000-square-foot Armory will be transformed into Westeros and The Free Cities, they promise, and if you buy a $90 VIP ticket (general admission is $40), you'll get "access to exclusive areas, exclusive displays, additional bars, faster entrance, and more." We're told by Bold Italic that this includes "access to Theon’s torture chamber and a private viewing section with King Joffrey." There will be "live medieval performances," 2 DJ stages, and "one giant dragon."
All proceeds for the event will be going to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and costumes are strongly encouraged. Obviously.
There are also VIP tables available with bottle service for $500. Get tickets here.
