On a day like this, even the pastel hues of a sporty windbreaker can't paint a smile on Yee's face.

Pictured here: Senator Leland Yee leaving the San Francisco Federal Building after Wednesday's hearing in front of a magistrate judge. SFGate's Beth Spotswood, who was at the arraignment, told SFist he had a "big sad face."

Yee, as you very well know by now, was arrested yesterday on charges of bribery and corruption. He stands accused of asking for campaign donations in exchange for introducing an undercover agent to an arms trafficker.

He was released on a $500,000 bond.

More to come. Of course.
