In a lengthy criminal complaint (pdf), Senator Leland Yee, a high-profile California proponent of gun control, allegedly used campaign money "in exchange for facilitating deal with arms dealer and Chinatown gangsters."

All of this was done with undercover FBI agents offering donations in exchange for favors.

Meanwhile, at Leland Yee's Sunset District home, FBI seized at least a dozen computers and other evidence.

Early Wednesday, Senator Leland Yee was arrested Wednesday during a series of raids by the FBI in Sacramento and in San Francisco. Raymond "Shrimp Boy" Chow and former school board president Keith Jackson were also arrested.
