You already know all about Porchlight, San Francisco's storytelling series. Tonight's an especially good installment, with local and national luminaries gathering at the Contemporary Jewish Museum to tell tales "about times it was too hard to keep it together, too hard to keep a secret, too hard to keep thinking about, and too hard to keep up."

Tonight, hear comedian and actor (you've seen him in commercials and in guest spots on pretty much everything) Michael Bunin, local bookseller and writer Suzanne Kleid McSweeney's editor, writer and artist Brian McMullen, artist Rick Oginz, and writer and actor Moon Zappa (who people of a certain age might recall as "Valley Girl" auteur "Moon Unit").

Hosts Arline Klatte and Beth Lisick will kick off the storytelling at 7 PM at the CJM, and they promise that it'll be done early enough to "grab dinner after," making it "a perfect date night!"
