Jose Pina , 31, sits in the clink today after being arrested for allegedly stealing a slew of wine worth over $400,000. He reportedly stole the wine from his place of employment: the temperature-controlled warehouse on the 600 block of Hanna Drive in American Canyon.

On Friday, around 350 cases of wine (4,200 bottles) went missing, The Chronicle has more:

The investigation led American Canyon police and Napa County’s sheriff detectives to a barn on the 2300 block of Rockville Road in the Green Valley area of Solano County, where they reported finding about 55 cases of the stolen wine.

Clues from that search brought investigators to the Vacaville apartment of warehouse employee Jose Pina, 31, on the 1500 block of Alamo Drive. There, officials said, they found more of the stolen wine and $73,150 that they believe came from black-market wine sales.

Pina was booked on charges of grand theft, possession of stolen property, and burglary. À votre santé, dude.
