It's Wednesday, still early enough in the week that you might feel too intellectually ambitious to collapse on the couch in front of all those Under The Gunn episodes you have piled up on the DVR (it's not as grabby as Runway, right?). Nurture that ambition with tonight's installment of the San Francisco Public Library's RADAR Reading Series, which aims to feature underground and emerging writers.

Tonight host Michelle Tea will be joined by Myriam Gurba (photo above), who will be debuting her 2013 Eli Coppola Memorial Chapbook contest winning selection, "Sweatsuits of the Damned." Also there for your pleasure: Black Salt Collective, and poet Dan Lau.

After the reading, we're told, there will be a Q&A for the writers, with a tasty incentive. "Ask a question, get a FRESHLY BAKED cookie," organizers promise. Just like how you train the dog!
