Earlier this week on President's Day, budding young entrepreneur and 13-year-old Girl Scout Danielle Lei found the best place in town to unload boxes of the Girl Scouts' signature sweet treats: in front of the Green Cross medical marijuana collective where she watched boxes of Tagalongs and Dulche de Leches fly off her folding table.

Lei sold 117 boxes in only two hours on Monday, Mashable reports. According to Lei's mother, foot traffic in front of the Glen Park cannabis clinic helped her sell over 30% more cookies than when posted up in front of a Safeway. According to the Green Cross on Facebook, the scouts had to call for more cookies after only 45 minutes.

Apparently Danielle and her sister have set up in front of weed dispensaries before and it's a way for mother Carol to play the cool mom for a little bit. As she told Mashable, "I'm not condoning it, I'm not saying go out in the streets and take marijuana [...] It also adds a little bit of cool factor. I can be a cool parent for a little bit." Carol even called ahead to get permission from the shop, which was naturally on board right from the get go.

The Girl Scouts of Northern California were surprisingly kosher with the whole thing, explaining, "The mom decided this was a place she was comfortable with her daughter being at. [...] We're not telling people where they can and can't go if it's a legitimate business."

Since the setup proved so beneficial for both the medical marijuana patients and the Girl Scouts, Green Cross has invited the girls back this Saturday, February 22nd to unload more of the goods.
