While it's not much for now, Noise Pop Industries has announced the initial lineup and dates for San Francisco's long-running citywide music festival. Local music fans, mark your calendars for February 25th - March 2nd, 2014.

With only eight of the roughly 100 bands that will likely make the final lineup announced today, this is really more of a Save the Date that a full-on invitation. Still, it bodes well for the festival, which is going into it's 22nd year.

Here's the teaser lineup:
Mark Kozelek (of Sun Kil Moon & Red House Painters)
Lord Huron
Bob Mould (25 Years of 'Workbook')
No Age
Cayucas
Free Salamander Exhibit
Kinski
Bottomless Pit

For those of you who are already stoked, Early Bird badges are onsale now for $125 — a steal, really, for admission to all the shows, happy hours, and special events during the six-day fest. Prices go up to $150 later and there are also $350 Super Fan Badges for a VIP experience.

Oh and if you haven't yet made it to Noise Pop's Musical Pursuit Trivia night: it happens once a month on Tuesdays and we bet one of the prizes will include free festival passes.

In the meantime, here's Cayucas with their So Cal-meets-Wes Anderson video for "Cayucos":
