Oracle/Team USA took another race today, bringing the score to New Zealand 8, U.S.A. 6, and meaning that the America's Cup is still not over. And, had they not cheated, the Oracle team would be tied at 8 right now.

New Zealand has had several chances to end this thing in the last few days, despite sailing being postponed on Saturday due to weather. Today, only one race happened because of too little wind, and Oracle took it by 33 seconds.

Racing will resume on Tuesday, with races scheduled for 1:15 and 2:15 p.m.

This is, of course, excellent news for Mr. Ellison, whose company is hosting clients from all over the country and the globe at Oracle OpenWorld this week. Now he has a boat race to show off to them for one more day.

The New Zealanders, meanwhile, would probably really like to go home now.

Sigh.
