Police are looking for a 35-40 year old male suspect who reportedly tied up a woman, choked her and stole her belongings after the two met and exchanged numbers on BART earlier this week.

The Weekly reports the 36-year-old victim met the man on a BART train on Monday night and the two later exchanged numbers at the Powell Street station. The suspect called her at 4 a.m. and she invited him over to her place on Berry Street in South Beach near AT&T Park. The pair had consensual sex but the tryst went sour when the man started demanding money. According to SFPD, that's when he tied her up, choked her and made off with some of her belongings. She was tied up for hours until she was finally able to free herself just before 8 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The woman did not have any information about the suspect, but she was taken to San Francisco General to be treated for bruises on her face and neck. Police are currently trying to get an ID on the suspect who is described as described as "a 35-40-year-old black man, about 5-foot-11, weighing 200 pounds. He was wearing a camouflage jacket, jeans, and black-and-white shoes."
