Another Semi-Naked Man Returns To Embarcadero Center, Dangles Off Ledge [Update]

Monday afternoon around 3:30 p.m., a shirtless man was spotted climbing a structure at Embarcadero Four, dangling off a ledge and refusing to get down. Part of a public plaza in the area was roped off by police tape for the third time in four days.

Several witnesses at the scene claim the man is the same one who climbed a light pole and removed his pants on Friday afternoon. Calls to SFPD's media relations unit were not immediately returned and unfortunately the photos we have at the moment are too blurry to confirm whether the man is the same. We will, of course, update you when we hear back from the police or other witnesses in the area.

[Update: The Examiner confirmed Tuesday morning that the suspect is the same in both Friday's incident and Monday's standoff. His identity is not being released until he is booked on charges related to the most recent incident.]

SFist reader Miche says no streets were blocked off aside from a pedestrian path on Sacramento Lane between the Coffee Bean and the Hyatt next door.
