We've dodged some weird stuff on Muni seats before, but one unlucky rider recently got stuck with something potentially more dangerous than mystery stains. Around 7 p.m. on Monday, SFPD officers stopped a Muni bus headed south towards Visitacion Valley on San Bruno Avenue due to reports of an armed youth onboard.

The suspected "cautiously" watched the police approach the bus before quickly shoving a handgun underneath the guy seated next to him. The probably bewildered Muni rider (aren't we all though?) stood up immediately and cops found the loaded .357 handgun.

The 15-year-old kid was booked into the Juvenile Justice Center on weapons charges. His name is not being released due to his age, but police are looking into whether the weapon was used in any earlier crimes.
