Currently the fourth largest wildfire burning in the nation, coming this afternoon at 105,620 acres, the Rim Fire in the Sierra Nevadas continues to grow. As of Friday, the small towns of Groveland and Pine Mountain Lake are under serious threat, as well as the San Francisco-owned Camp Mather and other camps run by Berkeley and San Jose.

According to NBC Bay Area, the fire is now burning inside Yosemite National Park. It is roughly the size of San Jose.

There are currently more than 50 major brush blazes burning across the western U.S. Here are a few scenes from the blaze just outside of Yosemite.
