Official Outside Lands Poster Tips Hat To SF's Groovy, Drug-Addled Past

In a choice move, Outside Lands commissioned Peter Max, the German illustrator known for his use of psychedelic shapes, to create the official Outside Lands 2013 poster. And here it is, in all of its tripped out glory. All that's missing is a talking purple fire hydrant that blows bubbles.

Outside Lands, running August 9 thru 11, sold out of all tickets in record time this year. (But there's always Craigslist, for those of you who cannot resist hordes of people.)
