Up Your Alley Fair, the smaller, gayer precursor to Folsom Street Fair colloquially called Dore Alley, happened amidst the fog yesterday. The chilly weather did not stop a healthy number of dudes from cavorting around a few blocks of Folsom Street in the buff (totally legally!), or in nothing but a jock strap.

There were, as Sister Roma reports, at least a handful of "infiltrators" from the Christian Right taking footage of the bacchanal to send to Fox News, or wherever. "I counted at least three," she says.

As always, Powerhouse was the unofficial clubhouse of the event, and this year brought a fun new party at Tank 18, the new wine bar and event space at the corner of Dore and Howard.

Parties then followed at Truck, Mezzanine, and the official afterparty, Bay of Pigs, was at Sound Factory, and by all accounts, good times were had. Here, a few pics from the gray, gay day.
