A Conversation With John Oates, As Told Through Hall & Oates Album Covers

We're not shy to admit it: we love Hall & Oates. The '70s and '80s hitmakers are still going strong, as evidenced by their upcoming appearances at Outside Lands, where we hope they'll play all the hot singles the kids are into these days. (We defy you to read the words "Maneater," "Private Eyes," "Rich Girl," and "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)" without getting their songs stuck in your head.)

So naturally we hopped at the chance to join a call with John Oates (once a poster boy for robust 1980s mustaches), where he shared a few words about Outside Lands, new fans, and 40 years in the business.
