Distracted by the glossy sheen of Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom's hair, the news media largely ignored any signs of pregnancy from the second first lady of California over the past nine months. Just a week after a Gavin's returned to City Hall, Jennifer Siebel-Newsom gave birth on Wednesday, July 3rd.
As mayor of Citizenville, Newsom announced the birth of his second daughter, Brooklynn Newsom, via Twitter:
Today we welcomed the latest addition to our family. A very healthy baby girl, Brooklynn Newsom. Thank you @JenSiebelNewsom! You r amazing!

The newborn Brooklynn (yes, like the borough, but with two n's) joins her two-year-old brother Hunter and sister Montana, who will be this many in September.
