Another charming story from the nightly circus at 16th and Mission: A 51-year-old man got into an argument with a man and a woman last night, and soon he was stabbed in the neck with a piece of rebar.

The assailants are described as a man and a woman in their 30s or 40s who escaped in a silver, two-door vehicle, as Bay City News reports.

The victim suffered critical injuries and was taken to the hospital. His condition is life-threatening.

The incident happened around 1:40 a.m. this morning on Mission Street between 16th and 17th.
