A 57-year-old man was shot by a police officer after allegedly gunning down his wife and pointing the gun at police.

The incident happened Saturday afternoon when Lt. Lee Horton responded to multiple reports of a man having shot a woman in an alley. Horton arrived to find the man standing near the woman's body, and he raised his gun toward Horton, at which point Horton shot him. The man was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

The names of the two deceased have not yet been released. But once again, Vallejo proves itself to be above average in the area of crime, domestic violence, and the rest.
