President Barack Obama will be in the Bay Area starting today. He'll attend receptions in Palo Alto and Portola Valley today and give a speech on Obamacare at the San Jose Fairmont Hotel tomorrow morning at 8:45 am.

The first event will be held at the Palo Alto home of Flipboard founders Mike and Marci McCue. Tickets run at $2,500 per person. More for VIP seating and a pic with POTUS.

The other big-ticket gala will be at the Portola Valley home of venture capitalist Vinod Khosla. Dinner will consist of a greek salad (with heirloom tomatoes... in early June!), chicken breast saltimbocca (chicken thighs would've been better), Anson Mills farro verde, La Quercia prosciutto, local artichoke "Chips" and caper jus. It will run you $32,400, according to NBC Bay Area.

Millions will be raised!

Sadly, Obama will not make his way to San Francisco. Expect traffic delays and congestion tonight, South Bayers.
