A 67-year-old man was shot in the back of the head in an Outer Sunset garage Saturday night. Any possibly motive remains a mystery, and it's unclear whether anything was missing from the victim's home, though police have made clear that it could not have been a suicide.
The victim, identified as Xue Zhong Mi, was found dead on the floor of his garage after 6 p.m. by a family friend who arrived at the house. The home is on the 1800 block of 44th Avenue.
