A previously mentioned, Mayor Ed Lee held a special ceremony Monday to prop up the Warriors Arena announce the Super Bowl in Santa Clara celebrate Stephen Curry's three-point record with a key to the city. What we missed was the mustachioed mayor's goof: mispronouncing Curry's first name.

During the presentation, in which the mayor went on for 40 minutes in that Kermit-y voice of his, Lee told the assembled crowd of city supervisors and public works officials, "you give Steve Curry an inch and he might take a golden state a mile!"

Cringe. The proper pronunciation, of course is STEF-EN. As in: "STEFFFFFFFFFFFFF-EN CURRRRRRRRR-Y." Observe:
