Man Found In Suspicious Marina Hotel Death ID'd

The man who was found dead inside a room at the Francisco Bay Inn on Lombard Street last Thursday morning has been identified as 45-year-old Jaisingh Pawar. Police are saying little else about the incident so far, however, except to say that the death deemed suspicious by the medical examiner was possibly caused by some sort of assault.

SF Weekly reports that police indicated they had identified a 46-year-old suspect in the case, but nothing more is known about him.

We'll update you as we learn more details, or a possible motive.
