Man Dies Under Suspicious Circumstances at Marina Hotel

The death of a man early this morning at the Francisco Bay Inn at 1501 Lombard Street was ruled suspicious by investigators for the medical examiner's office. The man was found unconscious around 4:30 a.m., and it's unclear who summoned the police or found the man.

Homicide investigators took over the case, and the victim has not yet been identified.

And, apropos of nothing, we've always wondered who stayed in those Lombard Street motels.
