This Saturday, the GLAAD Media Awards throws San Francisco a bone when they host their annual bronze-medal ceremony in the city. (The real awards, if you will, happen in Los Angeles and New York City.) Topping this year's list of honorees are Adam Lambert (a homosexual who once appeared on American Idol), Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom (straight politician), and the San Francisco Giants (a SPORTS team). Fabulous! Could it get any gayer?

Yes. Yes, it could. Granted, both Newsom and the Giants have done tireless work on behalf of the local LGBT community. But still. Why can't we get a former POTUS or the cast of an NBC show?

Other special guests include Jessica Clark (no idea), Kyle Richards (the most villinous housewife in Bravo's Real Housewives franchise), JINX MONSOON (the only reason to attend the awards), James Davis (a gay dude who appeared shirtless on a CBS reality show), a tertiary character on The Real Housewives of New Jersey who happens to be gay, YIGIT PURA (the other only reason to attend the awards), that one girl on that cooking show with the pretty Indian host you mom likes a lot, and Mel B.

This GLAAD Media Awards Lite happen this Saturday, May 11, at the Hilton (!) at 333 O'Farrell Street. Purchase tickets here.
