There's nothing we love more than an ad hoc street geyser and in Hayes Valley yesterday the city's faux-Parisian neighborhood finally experienced the thrill of a busted fire hydrant. Unlike the roaring, 5-story water streams we've seen elsewhere, this one was cuter than a pastel-colored sleeve of macrons.
So, how's everybody's water pressure around Grove and Octavia? Pretty weak?
