Firefighters contain a fire at a multi-unit building in Pacific Heights, which they extinguished just before noon today, a little over an hour after it started. The blazes sparked up on Vallejo at Buchanan.

Firefighters evacuated residents, but there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation
