Remember the Medjool rooftop deck? The one you loved to hate? The one you hated to love? Well, it's reopening. But not as Medjool, of course. Lolinda will reopen the open-air bar/restaurant as El Techo de Lolinda.

What will it be like? Let's see: according to SF Mag, "El Techo will be open for dinner every night of the week, and for brunch on Saturday and Sunday." Also, "[t]he whole space has gotten a major overhaul—apparently with some rather fancy and amazing Australian heat lamps."

We like an Australian heat lamp, sure. But they're no glass tube pyramid of fire, that's for certain. Everyone on The Real Housewives of OC seems to have them for their backyard parties. We digress.

Also, according to Grub, it will be a haven for mojitos. Check it: "The mojitos Medjool was known for will return, and there will be a food menu separate from Lolinda featuring Latin street food, with some Mexican influence thrown in. So, tacos, and such."

Delightful. We look forward to hearing people whine about it incessantly. Look for it to open next month.
