Sean Lackey, who, in addition to working at Prather Ranch, has also made a name for himself as a radical home cook, will kick off his public coming out at Truck with Bite Me. Garnering attention from Grub and Tablehooper already, it promises to be the thing to shove down your throat at the noted Mission gay bar.
The menu? Let's see:
- Pâté, thyme butter, acme baguette, plumb jam
- Brined soft boiled egg with homemade siracha, fried lemon, and garlic aïoli
- Fennel and blood orange salad, wild onion vinaigrette (vegan)
- Horseradish in a beet in a squash (vegan)
- Rice porridge, Prather Ranch beef, soft boiled egg, sesame, greens
- Range brothers pork, black eyed peas, chili relish, pickled onions
- Cream puffs
Bite Me goes down from 6pm-10pm at Truck (1900 Folsom, S.F.)
