A driver in a pickp-up truck barreling through a crosswalk killed an unidentified woman in her 50s this morning. The accident occurred at Judson Avenue and Edna Street. She was later pronounced dead at San Francisco General Hospital.

CBS 5 reports that the collision happened at "6:58 p.m. ... just east of City College of San Francisco’s Ocean campus." While SF Appeal notes that "[t]he driver of the Dodge pickup, a 42-year-old woman, stopped at the scene and was not arrested."

Today's fatal accident comes on the heels of a similar incident in West Portal back in March where two pedestrians were hit while using a crosswalk. In that situation, however, no one died one of the victims died from her injuries. Tania Madfes, 68, was killed.
